Been our best player 2 outve the last 3 seasons, should be only a backup now though now we have money. Sign two top midfielders

the thing is he might not want to be back up, at his age he might want to play every week. i hope is happy to stay and be back up cos a player with his experience will be great to have around for another couple of seasons.

As I've said in the Stones thread, players shouldn't show any loyalty to us as supporters because we show literally zero towards them

Barry is still a brilliant player and has lots to offer us, but people have the knives out for him

Partly because we built a team around carrying him. He is partly responsible for a woeful defensive record and falling away late in games. I don't mind him as backup but at 35 he needs replacing.

No one has the knives out for him apart from Father Time. He's 35, he shouldn't be in the first 11 any more. No other team with aspirations will be carrying a player of this age in their first team midfield.

He should drop down to the lower end of the league or the championship or go to Scotland.

Our defense didnt really look well protected last season, could just be the managers set up, but we shouldnt be relying on 35 year olds, will be useful but hopefully the new actually has a plan without him
