Stones tells Everton he wants Man City transfer

Saying he's crap is one thing but I've had a year to come to terms with him going and it doesn't hurt like it did when we heard he was requesting the transfer. A good player with lots of potential but he wants to fulfil it somewhere else and I'd like us to bring in someone who wants to play boss football for us, not here for now and angling for a move to Chelsea or City in a couple of years.

Don't sell at all. If we're a big time club now, we should be selling that to Stones, telling him of the great players coming in, building a side AROUND him. If we're going to be as big as some claim, then he'd want to stay.
Even the biggest clubs lose there best players . Not just little Everton

As per your comment before. Never a grey area of GOT, proper black and white. He's a quality player and you're a poor judge for failing to recognise that.

Why was he so unbelievably crap for most of last season then? You will have to forgive me if I don't think messing about with the ball and trying to do Cruyff turns in your six yard box whilst being incapable of winning a header makes you a great defender. He's that good that he was kept out of the England side by Cahill and Smalling.

Let's not use the evaluations of Roy Hodgson as any sort of yard stick.

If he's easily replaced and we should have taken the money, why are big teams trying to spend big money on him?
Man city spend big money just because they can, moshiri has probably turned up 12 months to late for stones, he can keep the bench warm with another another 50 mil English waste of money sterling

It's a miracle he's worth more money now than he was last summer. Let him go if he wants to go, use the profits to access more of Moshiri's money and really spruce up the squad. No hard feelings, almost every club in the world goes through this and iron-fist tactics with players are terrible for business.
