Stones tells Everton he wants Man City transfer

Don't sell at all. If we're a big time club now, we should be selling that to Stones, telling him of the great players coming in, building a side AROUND him. If we're going to be as big as some claim, then he'd want to stay.
But then we can't really sign many players of quality which we need

In a perfect world yes, but seeing there are some requirements from the FA regarding that STCC thingy to be met, I'm afraid we don't have that much choice atm. Hopefully Stones will be the last player we have to sacrifice and in the future there will be other revenues available to meet those requirements. If we don't succeed in that, I do think we have a major problem regarding 'project' Everton

We cannot increase the wage bill by more that £7 million/year without a source of revenue to account for the increase in wages.

We cannot, without incurring penalties from the Premier League, have our cake and eat it too. This season.

He'd be one less to sign if we kept him.

Anyways he wants to move on which is fine by me, I'd rather we didn't hinder and got the best deal possible, as sad as it's makes me. I mean, who'd you rather work under, the Dutch Moyes or Pep? No brainer, he's not a Blue like us.

I think 'utterly brilliant' is going a bit over the top, as usual.

As per your comment before. Never a grey area of GOT, proper black and white. He's a quality player and you're a poor judge for failing to recognise that.

"Get rid he's crap anyway"

Understand that, I'm just saying Evertonians happy to move him on because he's overrated, poor, greedy etc etc are (something I can't post in Everton forum).

He will be a great player there is no doubt. Does things that you don't expect and will learn the right time to do such things.
If he wants to go then get good money and move on.
Sick and tired of all these players saying they want champions league, play better and it might happen!!
