Excellent talent, could really have excelled here under Koeman with less pressure but footballers careers are short so cant blame him for chasing money and the CL. Good luck to the lad but he will be replaced.

certainly wasn't worth 50 million last season anyway. John's heart has been gone for a while I feel, would prefer him not to go to Man City as they have a habit of ruining good British potential. I wouldn't want to see a very promising player ruined like the other lids that went there,thinking they were going to rule the world,and sitting in the reserves week after week.

Well this was expected. Hopefully it's concluded soon and City give us their usual enormously inflated fee.

I'll be glad to see the back of the person (who clearly hasn't wanted to be here for the last 12 months at least), but not the footballer. He's amazing to watch and should go on to be great.

....it's been inevitable since last season, despite the new owners and coach. He's a fine player, time will tell if he better prospers at City but it's now in everybody's interest to get the move done for the price we seek.
