I just think he needs to be moved back in to a midfield 3. Playing as a no 10 limits him. Move him to the centre with a couple of destroyers at the side of him. Give him the ball and tell him to run at the opposiition and stary hitting a few shots from outside the box again. Work on his timing of run so he can get the ball in space when the oposition defence has retreated in to the box and are blocking thr keepers view.

Hes been tried on the left and it didnt work. But i think with better players it could be devastating, he would have more freedom and wouldnt be double marked.

Too fat, that Ross Barkley...

Looks a lot leaner there though, maybe actual fitness training with England has done some good
I guess it didn't help having a manager who kept describing him as the best player ever despite him not actually playing that well last season. Wasn't pushed by the manager, simply praised to the hilt and seemingly allowed to do whatever he wanted. Koeman needs to get him fit and ready to last 90 minutes (Deulofeu, McCarthy too). Most players in the league can do that, we've seen it at the Euros with Iceland, Wales all sprinting throughout the entire games looking to help their sides win, so why weren't our players able to do so last year?

Hopefully Koeman's men are a lot more effective than Roberto's fraudsters.

I agree. Play him as the most offensive player in the 3 man midfield - seemed to work for Lampard haha
