Technically and comically speaking, Desperate Dan ate cow pies

Oh that's the one!Technically and comically speaking, Desperate Dan ate cow pies![]()
He is only friends with Russian oligarchs! We shouldn't laugh too loud, Samuelson nearly got a foot in the door here and our previous benefactor, Sir Phillip Green, is up before a select committee today (if he turns up). Bill has some unsavoury mates, I trust Moshiri is made of better metal.
Sad times for Villa.
Now that Koeman is sorted, I'm looking forward to developments at boardroom level too - I think it was sugessted that Brian Gilvary could be in by the end of August and I hope David Dein is more than a possibility.
Wonder if rumours of Kenwright as Life President and Royle to join as a director are true?
Brick by brick we need to dismantle the ediface of mediocrity and lack of expectation.
Ryazantsev seems to have a very good reputation and Esk speaks well of him, further additions in that vein can only be a good thing.

What in gods name would Esk know about it? Are you on the wind up?
Haven't seen anything to suggest Esk has a shred of Itk and you're suggesting 'Esk speaks well of him' - well that's a relief! I hope Moshiri gave him a ring before appointing Ryazantsev to the board.
You worried about your job mate? as you seem a little tense Bob.What in gods name would Esk know about it? Are you on the wind up?

You couldn't have been following the mangers thread if you're seriously saying that you think @The Esk has provided no ITK info.
well Bob, he could do your job better than you but then so could the cleaner.
Why are you talking to him like it's the real Elstone? Rather amusing.
I think he's run out of things to moan about in the workings of the club, it's left a vacuum. That's a bit unnecessary, Esk is sound
No mate, this is no false dawn. In less than three years we will be totally unrecognisable to the plodding, unambitious, under-resourced club we have been since the early 1990's.
It's already beginning to show, and will become even more evident in the summer.
CBA reading back through all of this thread, so apologies if it's all been said, but I was getting excited thinking through it all this morning. Obviously, Moshiri doesn't have the endless pockets of Abramovic or Mansour, but he does expect to invest heavily in the club. Everton as financially self-sustaining is not only necessary, but actually possible in the new PL era. He's tightening up the squad and management staff to compete for TV money and silverware, but he's also cementing stadium plans, and (presumably) fixing the commercial/sponsorship aspects so that the club brings in its own income and won't rely on a sugar daddy. Is this a reasonable expectation/path for the next 3-5 years?
