They are who they are. If they weren't good enough for Everton then that's the clubs fault for offering them contracts over the journey. They were living the dream that any one of us on here would kill for. Playing for Everton.

My only criticism of them, and it's also a regret, is that they didn't call time on their own terms.

Technically sound with great feet and an underrated player. Scored lots of important goals for Everton. Can't forget the Larissa goal, the header against Arsenal and City, the 30 yard screamer vs City, the strike in the derby in 2012 that started the comeback. I must be forgetting many more.

Hope he moves into coaching at under 21 level and makes his way up.

It just frustrates me how some of our socalled "fans" trash talk our players. Sure, it's fine to not like someone - I don't like all of our players either.
