I wonder if the media attention Moshiri is getting currently is making Usmanov slightly envious, throughout their businesses and in terms of wealth Usmanov is the big cheese out the pair yet it's Moshiri in all the papers appearing to bankroll a prem team, whilst Usmanov is in the shadows as a minority stake holder in arsenal. The only way he'll leave arsenal for us is if his ego gets bruised enough he comes here as part owner and spends big (or awful to think another club and goes it alone).

Moshiri won't fund the whole stadium out his own pocket, but he'll have to put some of his own cash in Imo. I would imagine it would be something like (very rough figures example) £50 million own cash, £50 million naming rights, £50-60 million from TV deal this year then a further £130-140 million loan put out on the club against future TV revenue making £300 or so million for the new stadium.
Which leaves me to ask, as I have from the outset, how much funds for players does the Manager get after this Summer?

January? Next Summer? We need sustained investment into the squad. Not a one off.[/QUOTE]

Usmanov seems quite happy at Arsenal. You have to ask the question why didn't he come to Everton with Moshiri if he was going to come here at all.
Say if he came here with Moshiri and it failed, docks wasn't a possibility, couldn't improve Goodison etc. Usmanov and Moshiri would have invested money into Everton which would have been a waste and they would have lost their shares in Arsenal.

A theory could be that Moshiri has come over here, seen how it is, if we have the potential to be next level and while at Arsenal, Red & White holdings still have 30%, seeing if Kroenke budges. Now Kroenke hasn't done Usmanov any favours (he's actually bought more shares), Usmanov can sell his shares and join Moshiri at Everton, knowing that all plans are already in place, he just has to invest money and the rest will follow.

Kenwright said he was talking to Moshiri for 18 months before it was announced, maybe the plan was for just Moshiri on his own.. And in that 18+ months, Usmanov decided he wanted to move on and then decided to jump on with Moshiri.

So 3 scenarios;

1. What's happening now - Moshiri on his own and his own plan

2. The plan was for Moshiri but Usmanov wants in suddenly (or other investors - who knows)

3. Moshiri and Usmanov masterplan

Side note: it's late and I'm chatting out of my arse. I'm happy with anything, it's an upgrade on what we had before :)

TL;DR? We're winning the lot

I believe it is Scenario 1 for now, maybe for a season or two, with the possibility of Scenario 2 if extra financial clout is needed. I don't foresee Scenario 3, which if it does indeed happen, drinks are on me.

I personally think the first 1-3 seasons see's big investment but after that he aims to see us become more self sufficient and spend less. Now hopefully we buy players who prove to be a success and if needed we could sell the odd 1 down the line for massive profits to reinvest when needing a squad overhaul ala Bale, Suarez, Rom?

My own opinion is that Moshiri will fund us the new stadium, invest a good sum of money these next 2-3 seasons and if all goes to plan sell us on for a profit in 5-10 years time. For me he's the middle man between Kenwright and a multi billionaire in Usmanov/Abramovich territory.

If Usmanov and Moshiri planned for Usmanov to join him later, why not just but the club together in the first place? Usmanov is staying at Arsenal, Moshiri is ours.
They had to move fast to see off the Americans, easier to sell 15% to your mate than 30% to another party, who will try to screw you because they know you are desperate to offload the 30%.

Moshiri definitely came out of the blue when the Americans were going to buy Everton, that tells me he was planning an escape route from Arsenal and we were the club to escape to for some time.

There is no rush now, it has perfectly worked out if there is a master plan, which I believe there is.

I think the same mighty quint we've already made a statement in koeman mate

I'm afraid this is simply not true mate.

So by your own admission you accept that it would be extremely difficult for Usmanov to sell R&W Holdings.

I think you are right saying how difficult it is. But I'm inclined to think something may be in the pipeline further down the line given some of the noises from well respected ITKs.

Hearing the talk from the Arsenal side of things, they don't see Usmanov hanging around.

If you have a willing buyer ( lets say Stan) then it is not difficult to sell the shares but if the buyer knows you want to sell , indeed are desperate to sell to move onto your next project ( lets say Everton ), then he is going to screw you on the consideration.

So if Mr Usmanov really does want to divest himself of the Arsenal shareholding ( quickly) he is likely to find himself in some difficulties.

The only alternative is if he can find another investor who is prepared to spend a huge amount of money to acquire a minority shareholding , with no influence and no seat on the board. Good luck with that.

You at the time Esk was saying the Amercian's were the buyers, the media, several ITK's were saying the same, nobody saw Moshiri coming.

I don't think it will be hard at all to sell the shares now, I think Kroenke would buy them at the drop of a hat to get full control of Arsenal.

Lets make it clear, Usmanov and Moshiri got into owning shares to takeover a club, the plan at Arsenal has failed, they are not in it to sit back and allow others to do it, Usmanov wants his own club in the Prem.
