At least the recruitment of our next manager puts to bed any lingering ideas that Bill is still in control of our club.

The contrast between Bill entertaining a former manager at the boxing whilst Moshiri is at the CL final meeting & negotiating with genuine top drawer candidates could not be any greater.

Can I suggest that BK was at Goodison not solely to 'entertain' David Moyes, but being fully supportive of a local sportsman fighting at the club where Bill is still Chairman, even if in name only, and Tony Bellew is a passionate Blue?

I'd suggest a fair division or responsibility - FM getting on with primary Everton business with BK looking after the 'home front' so to speak.

Good call Blockhead too many folk waiting to jump on Bill at every opportunity, he isn't perfect but what an ideal scenario for the club where Bill is left too concentrate at the PR end of things, its what he's good at and Mr Moshiri the serious business which has been lacking in recent years.

Because BK would have been at the Champions League final had there not been a fight at Goodison?

It speaks volumes for what Moshri is about and his aims for the club compared to the old guard.

No mate. BK has been relegated to areas in which he can no longer cause any harm.

I was not criticising Bill - both he and Moyes were there as a result of their long time support for Bellew, personally I had no problems with either being there.

I was however drawing the contrast with the work that Moshiri was doing, and would hope at last that everyone recognises where the balance of power now lies.

I wouldn't have thought that where the balance of power now lies was up for debate - Mr.Moshiri is the guvnor, end of.

Personally, I think BK being at Goodison to support Bellew as in effect "the host" was absolutely the right place for him to be and thing for him have done.
Moyes being there was a coincidence and him being in a suite with BK for some time only natural given the longevity and strength of their previous relationship... irrespective of how it is these days.

I agree totally but given the meltdown across social media just because they were there it's worth repeating.

As said for several months our wonderful club is to become unrecognisable in the future. I hope the events of this week help people have confidence in our future.
