His only flaw; he's Welsh!
I was also at his testimonial. In an era with some truly world class keepers he was the best and an honour to have seen him during those years for us, also an honour for me personally to attend his testimonial - one of the players who deserved that honour more than anyone, still a blue and can say without doubt i will never ever see a better keeper play for us than the binman
You've never been to butlins Pwllheli thenI love the Welsh me and I sometimes wonder if it's cos Neville was my idol when I first started watching us.
What you learn young stays with you.
You've never been to butlins Pwllheli then
Went to Newport in the 80s finished 1_1 that ground of theirs ,Jesus .Cardiff fans in our end wanting to fight ,some millwal as well. You are correct Sir. Just hung out with a lot of cool kids from Newport, Cardiff and what not.
Oh and Nev though again.
Never saw him at his peak but he was still pretty damn good in the early 90s.
Just had this manner about him: wasn't arrogance, wasn't confidence, defo not humility. Just like I graft for it and it's made me one of the best.
I was also at his testimonial.
I think he's the reason Evertonians will never be happy with an Everton number 1 anymore. We will never have a better keeper.
