You are correct Sir. Just hung out with a lot of cool kids from Newport, Cardiff and what not.
Oh and Nev though again.
Never saw him at his peak but he was still pretty damn good in the early 90s.
Just had this manner about him: wasn't arrogance, wasn't confidence, defo not humility. Just like I graft for it and it's made me one of the best.

Went to Newport in the 80s finished 1_1 that ground of theirs ,Jesus .Cardiff fans in our end wanting to fight ,some millwal as well.
Your right about big nev used to love it when pundits said he was the best in the world shame he never got on the big stage internationally ,cos he's Welsh,sorry.

I think he's the reason Evertonians will never be happy with an Everton number 1 anymore. We will never have a better keeper.

Very true, Nev is a benchmark that many will try to attain, few if anyone will.

And if we do uncover someone who can get close to that level, he needs to signed for life and no messing around with the annual media let's get this player from Everton sold to Manure.

Whenever he faced a one on one I was always confident he would come up with it and 99% of the time he did. Twice in the 84 Cup Final for a start. Best keeper I have seen. That includes Banks,Jennings and Schmeical
