"This has been the first time that Usmanov has been mentioned to me. Been told by Xmas, so will have to see on timescales, but will definitely have full control of the club."

I was just thinking the same thing:this is a second separate source to back up what the excellent WRD1878 said on theevertonforum about Usmanov buying in to us. Interesting...

In all serious though, its hard to comprehend someone in Canada having their finger on the pulse of PL shareholdings. Be like any of us being itk about Toronto Beavers or something.

Of course i havnt a scooby like everyone else really whats going on here, but the big E's post seem to make more sense then not compared to random twitter feeds.

I dont recall what, but I do recall this Everton Canada talking utter bullcrap at some point in the past.

In short, they chat utter wham and should not be considered a source of any credibility.

I wouldnt say logic mate, id say opinion.

With respect, how is that different to what Esk is doing?

Dont get me wrong, ive read Usmanovs words and nothing to me suggests that hes going anywhere soon, but that WRD does seem to know his stuff and it makes sense on so many levels.

Anyway, I guess we find out in the next 6 months, until then its all just words.

If their plan was to both come to Everton, why didn't they both come at the time? Especially as Kronke would supposedly have been happy to buy all the shares.

Moshiri isn't anybody's guinea pig. I doubt he would agree to buy Everton to 'test the water' for Usmanov or set up the Stadium move before Usmanov commits.

Unfortunately I think this is just fans on the internet putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5.

Well again with respect to the Esk's posting i think he is posting his opinion on the topic, rather then the snippets im sure he likely gets, i suppose for me its the back up of his knowledge of the rules that govern these issues that provide the evidance base for the logical conclussion, meaning for me anyway im more inclined to sit on that side of the fence.

In truth i dont and no one else has a clue really whats going on, but i refuse to wet my kecks over a random Canandian twitter feed.

Dont get me wrong im not arsed who right or wrong here, would e great if Usi did come on board, but i tend to see the logic of the Esks evidance base/knowledge of the rules and the indication this presents.

Just to stress, the right and wrong this is a load of jarg, not trying to frame things here nor should any of us as The Big E VS WD40 - on the other forum.

Maybe Usmanov wanted to see if he gained more respect with 30% of shares rather than 15%?

Maybe Moshiri has come in, realised what a big job the whole thing is and rang his mate and asked for help?

Who even knows.

I for 1 welcome our new Russian overlord.

Wouldn't Moshiri's due diligence have covered every angle though?

...I asked exactly the same question on here a few weeks ago. Can't exactly remember the response but somebody had what they thought was a logical reason regarding share sales.

He was full of tosh around the time of Moshiri's investment, so far off the mark he is like a canadian watched toffee, incredible that people run with it, and when it doesn't happen its Everton's fault.
