No, tbh I would laugh this off only for the fact the fella who said it on the other forum is very well respected. That makes it interesting.
Its hard to argue with The Big E's post on this though - there just so logical.

"This has been the first time that Usmanov has been mentioned to me. Been told by Xmas, so will have to see on timescales, but will definitely have full control of the club."

Well, logic suggests that somebody who cant even got on a Board with 30% of shares will at some point think "Screw this, im out", does it not?

I wouldnt say logic mate, id say opinion.
With respect, how is that different to what Esk is doing?
Dont get me wrong, ive read Usmanovs words and nothing to me suggests that hes going anywhere soon, but that WRD does seem to know his stuff and it makes sense on so many levels.
Anyway, I guess we find out in the next 6 months, until then its all just words.
If their plan was to both come to Everton, why didn't they both come at the time? Especially as Kronke would supposedly have been happy to buy all the shares.
Moshiri isn't anybody's guinea pig. I doubt he would agree to buy Everton to 'test the water' for Usmanov or set up the Stadium move before Usmanov commits.
Unfortunately I think this is just fans on the internet putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5.
Maybe Usmanov wanted to see if he gained more respect with 30% of shares rather than 15%?
Maybe Moshiri has come in, realised what a big job the whole thing is and rang his mate and asked for help?
Who even knows.
I for 1 welcome our new Russian overlord.

He was full of tosh around the time of Moshiri's investment, so far off the mark he is like a canadian watched toffee, incredible that people run with it, and when it doesn't happen its Everton's fault.I dont recall what, but I do recall this Everton Canada talking utter bullcrap at some point in the past.
In short, they chat utter wham and should not be considered a source of any credibility.
