That the issue, we need more then two players due so many leaving. A new goalkeeper, a new centre back, a left winger and an attacker plus maybe striker depending on lukaku

....I'm not disagreeing, the sooner we get somebody in the better. The Overmars post is timely, seems we are making progress on Manager and DoF fronts.

It all basically comes down to phrasing basically, "sorry i cant accept right now as i'm waiting for something better" is different than " I apperciate the offer and I am truly interested, I just need to explore all my options before I can commit."

Indeed. But the latter wouldn't inform Everton (and hence any ITK's "source") that he was waiting on the result of the CL final because he's on a promise from Madrid.

I hope getting Overmars as DoF doesn't mean De Boer is the manager.

Anyone but Emery at this stage will be a bit of a disappointment.
