A family member of his owning a Premier League club would stop him from being able to purchase Everton
Abramovich is tired of London, he needs a change of sceneryMaybe the other ITK heard a new investor was Russian and thought of Usmanov. Might be someone else entirely.
He could but he'd still fall foul of PL rules - it's not going to happen, he'd have to sell his shares to an unrelated party to acquire shares in any other PL club.
But when the Moores family owned Everton and another Moores owned Liverpool that was OK. Fair enough it wasn't the Premier League. I shall take your comment as valid and true.........until I can find some words proving otherwise..... lol

I just pulled up a 560 page document, and tbh I probably couldn't stay awake reading it, so I'll go with what you say......
Sounds like someone has mistaken Hibbert for Putin again.Maybe the other ITK heard a new investor was Russian and thought of Usmanov. Might be someone else entirely.

I'm listening to @The Esk on this.
I'm at a loss as to why a lot of people think Usmanov is coming in a cloak-and-dagger manner.
And why would he 'send' Moshiri first? Surely he'd just go ahead with it himself?
Personally I'm happy with Moshiri, let's see where he takes us.
Yes, but it won't be this summer imo. It would be wise for him to defray his risks and liability, but can't see him doing a makeover for us and trying to sell the idea of Everton to investors.I'm more than happy with having Moshiri on board.......I do however believe that he will bring others to invest.......
