If Martinez is still manager come summer time, I'm not renewing my season ticket

In fact, I'm going to email the club and make that clear

Others who feel the same should do likewise

Martinez needs to go but I wonder what the sentiment will be if he sticks around but replaces his entire back room staff?
Like Moyes to Utd, messed up massively when he didn't arse his mates.

i don't want him out as much as some other people to be honest...even though i thought he was a bad appointment originally. Martinez is one of the good guys...a likeable kind of a charachter whose just had a bad run. A couple of injuries and alot of confidence sapping last minute defeats have us where we are. off the top of my head - Bournmouth, Chelsea, West Brom, Stoke, Norwich & west ham (there could be more) - all games where we conceded late to drop points from winning positions. hold on for a win in even half of them and we are well up the table. I think his problem in those game is his reluctance to close up shop - i can never remember him making a defensive substitution.

In fairness, apart from Niasse most of his signings have been good. So with a bit of money this summer he might be able to bring in some top quality & surely will have learned from this season - I know i'm gonna be killed on here for this but he could so all right next year!!

Congrats mate on being quite literally the last Evertonian alive who thinks Martinez is "just on a bad run". That's quite an exclusive club you've got going there.

At what point are people going to realise that he won't be sacked under the employment of Bill Kenwright. He's too nice to him. BK's never had to sack a manager before and it sure as shot isn't going to happen any time soon.

The only way he goes is if he resigns.

I am not convinced that RM will be leaving at all. Bill Kenwright is very loyal to his managers and may see two cup semi finals as progress.
The key question is if Moshiri agrees with him or at least is prepared to back his judgement.

Mate if you have a scroll through my posts on this thread and the Moshiri thread you'll see that it is not Bill's decision, the Board will do as Moshiri demands. Martinez does not feature in Moshiri's vision of the future at Everton. The only remaining issue is timing, be it hours, days or end of season, no-one outside the club knows or has had an indication of his thinking on this subject.

Logically it should be now as there's no footballing reason for him to remain.

He doesn't learn from his mistakes. He sticks dogmatically to his principles, at the expense of everything else.

Don't think cleverly or McCarthy are bad signings personally but the rest are as bad as it gets, unless the fears about Niasse prove to be true.

To whom it may concern

My name is Michael Fitzgerald and I am a Season Ticket holder in seat **** in Row ** of the Main Stand.

I have currently yet to renew that season ticket for next season and I would like to openly state that I will not countenance doing so if Roberto Martinez is not removed as Everton manager.

I am sure you have received other similar messages, so will thus understand the strong feeling amongst Evertonians at the moment.

I am strongly considering not even attending the game this Saturday against Bournemouth, such is the strength of my current discontent with the current team and manager.

I ask you to please consider the immediate termination of Mr. Martinez’s contract as a gesture of goodwill to a fan base that has truly had enough of his poor tactics and lack of humility.

I will immediately renew my season ticket if this is to happen. This would also be the case if advance notice was given that Mr. Martinez would certainly be leaving at the season’s end (As Celtic have done with their manager Ronny Deila)

Please pass this to the relevant department/Member of staff

I suppose an important consideration going forward is minimising any involvement that Bill has in choosing a successor!
