All I get when I discuss Martinez with friends and work colleagues is "why do you want him sacked? He's doing a decent job. You're not going down and in a safe mid table position. Where do you think he should have you? Top 6? don't be unrealistic".

Totally depressing and it's driving me bonkers.
My response to that is somewhere around 72 points give or take a few either side. Instead we are 31 points off that target. Tell them in points - it's a lot clearer and much harder to argue against.

In percentage terms it's a 43% drop!!

They don't have to come over straight away, just be signed up for next season. You even used Pellegrini as an example, when he himself has been replaced but not removed from his post (although I'd want Martinez out the door pronto).
the pellegrini thing is different, it was announced well in advance of the season and not under a storm of sacking him after terrible results. Thw whole thing there was probably agreed long before they announced it, hence the contract extension for Pellegrini (give him a pay off as a thank you for service).

Other than that, when has a manager been recuited or been close to it at this point in a season? We will get our man, just a week or two after the season ends, give them a little holiday and then have them start work 1st june.

A slightly promising note I guess is that the Club's social media platforms have chosen not to publish any comments from Martinez for the last two matches
I'll hold you responsible if they come out later today publicly backing their amazing Manager!

The club are increasingly embarrassing me by the minute by their failure to act. I feel like I'm supporting Bournemouth, not Everton.

The fact he's still Everton manager right now is cringeworthy.

For me there is no last straw as such, because I gave up on him ages ago, but his snide dig at Moyes is at the act of a nasty arrogant little man completing lacking in any dignity.

Can't believe I have read on another forum that some still would like to give him money to spend and see how he does next season.

It's like the fact that winning 9 league games all season is somehow not that important to them. The fact that we are on for 2 bottom half finishes on the bounce is not important to them. The fact that the team have looked like a rag bag Sunday league side for a while now in complete disorganisation is not important. The fact that he has openly stated he doesn't pay much attention to defending is not important to them. The fact that the whole nation witnessed a complete capitulation at Anfield the other night which showed that the players have lost the will to perform for him is not important.

Sometimes it just beggars belief what some people actually want for this club. You could even go as far as to say they must be pretty gullible to be taken in by him any longer, as end produce really does not match his flannel or over the top enthusiasm.

if he is not relieved of his duties in the next couple of days then once again the club will have failed the majority of its fan base, but that is nothing unusual I guess.

It,s insulting to the players and the fans that this man has the audacity to come out and tell the press and fans this garbage.
He is literately taking the **** out of every fan and getting paid 3 million pounds to do it.
How far does this club have to sink before something is done about it.

If the rumours that he's lost the players is true,it would be interesting to see them totally ignore his game plan against Bournemouth and come out and play the way they want to.
