So London means:

a) someone flying into Heathrow
b) someone living in the south
c) someone tied up with media work at Wembley this afternoon

Not necessarily. It just means Kenwright & Moshiri live in London.

Could be anyone. Moyes used to regularly travel down to London for talks with Kenwright and Green. Not saying it's Moyes either, just using him as an example.

Weirdest rumour was the latest United had offered him the chance as well, as Charlton/ Ferguson on the board really didn't want Mourinho

Part of the stand renaming charm offensive may have been to bring them onside for it.

On an unrelated note, you can see why there are now also rumours that Van Gaal will stay - that group of youngsters up front they have now only needs one experienced players in there to be really decent

Oh Martial and Rashford are superb. Lingard looks good as well atm. Fellaini - weirdly enough - was top as well.

But the star of the show for them was Rooney yesterday. Got to say, he was outstanding.

Showed the winning mentality/experience that we lack

Is hopefully the correct order ;)

Yes mate in that order for me too. I've mentioned Pellegrini before as I think he would do a cracking job for us, calm figure and experienced. Though for popcorn alone Mourinho would absolutely wipe the floor with any rival manager if he came here and psychologically it would be an unbelievable boost to not just the players but the fans.

Koeman I like but I think he's had quite a mixed record and I'm not arsed about Southampton as managing Everton is a tougher job and more demanding.

De Boer I know absolutely nothing about except that Stam and Bergkamp are coach's there so if he brought them in I would be buzzing as Bergkamp is probably my favourite league player outside of anyone playing for Everton. Wouldn't mind him coaching Ross about how to ghost into some killer positions.

That's my thinking too.

First half of the season was van Gaal getting them better as a functioning unit. Dreary, but had to happen. Now he's got Rooney spraying long passes from deep to a rapid young counterattacking side.

All that low crossing would, sadly, suit Lukaku all day!!
