Maybe it's me reading too much into things, but Jags, Coleman and Baines aside he rarely starts or uses any of the others.

Rumours are he fell into a sack on way home last night. Hence the word sacked. Hes struggling to find a way out despite intensity and desire and he knows Everton fans will want him to escape. Nah, he only said "being told he's gone" - so he can just come back and say "I was misinformed", or if he's sacked a week from now or in the summer, he can say "this was done ages ago".
