He's got to be this seasons champion WUM. Was he winking when he said that?
We're a much, much bigger club than Chelsea and Man City. My point is, we need to set our sights much, much higher.
The phrase I would use is ruthless. On and off the field, we need to be ruthless. We should start tomorrow by letting Martinez and the other league 1 standard comedians on his coaching staff go, except for Duncan Ferguson. Otherwise, I can only imagine the amount of empty seats at the next home game...

Really? I think it highlighted the huge problem that even if we play well we can't get a result. Game management is atrocious
game management has been Bobby's problem. We can all recall games where we have snatched a draw/defeat from a victory, I'll get slated for this but some players like Naismith could do this from on the pitch. Player at that level know how to kill a game with tetchy fouls, slowing the play down, going down 'injured', sheet i used to at amateur saturday level. Going for bust all the time when seasoned pros know otherwise, then it goes wrong, its no surprise that the boss lost the dressing room.

No, sorry, you've GOT to sack him. I mean... come on? Really? You're really still the manager of our club?

This is Mike Bassett levels of stupid.

We'll be calling a press conference first thing on Monday morning....to announce our new shirt sponsor, Wirral Rubbish.

Said this when he left, despite the criticism, he was very useful in certain situations.

Does anyone really think he will go of his own volition?

I'm dreading Martinez will go on to point to what might have beens (if only the penalty had gone in), a positive second-half performance, spout his usual 'we are on the right track' rhetoric and say we were unfortunate to lose to an injury-time goal (a staple of his tenure) and say the luck hasn't been on our side all season.

This will earn brownie points with family-man, lets not rock the boat Bill and in true Johnny Logan-esque fashion, there will be 'What's another year'!

Its perhaps the worst of both worlds today, we are (narrowly) out of the cup and as a result, could we be possibly stuck with brown-shoe Bobby?

The (founded) worry is that our board doesn't have the nerve to actually step up and make a decision. Much like Jagielka and Stones at times.

We have been doing the same things, week-in, week-out and nothing changes. Its now or never really if the board are serious.

Ideally he should take his leave himself and depart the scene with some good grace and chalk it up to a failed experiment. But we are never that lucky, are we?

Fear not mate, he's going, it just looks more and more like he's going to have to be pushed that's all .

This Fraud makes me embarrassed to be an evertonian. I can't believe how much the rest of the fan's in the premiership are laughing at us now. This season is right up there with aston villa, the only reason we escaped relegation this year is rom's goals.
