Can't really argue with any of that.
I know this sounds strange as well but I actually think Everton would be a good fit for him. I think he will be still stung and hurting by the way it all unravelled so quickly at Chelsea.
At United
No matter what he wins will he be even remotely regarded as on par with Busby or Ferguson - not a chance on earth - especially if he's their for 3-4 years or so.
Right now if he bombed out at United then he would be almost finished as far as top clubs went - and that united side is a total mess right now and the boardroom should they appoint him will be fractured to bits.
He will have people actively working against him from day one in both the media and in the actual club.
He will always be remembered as the manager of their rivals by a lot of the die hard mancs, much like Rooney will never be fully accepted by them as he is a scouser.
Pressure from day 1 to succeed, any success will be seen as 'well it's united and they should win things'
Will be taking over a team that on talent is perfomring at the level it should
At Everton
Has a chance should he want to be regarded right up their with the best who ever managed us.
Any success will be seenas an amazing achievement and proof he is the best of his generation.
Will have a unified board behind him and with a actual football man in charge with Moshiri.
Will have less of a pressure cooker and wll be given time by the fans, the media and the board
Will be taking over a team that on talent is massively underperforming, just by being competent he will see us improve a huge amount in performance
Any failiure to turn us around will be chalked off by the media due to us not being regarded as a team that 'should' be winning things, so will hardly harm his future prospects
