If it were simply a concern about being 'out of pocket' the grounds would be empty all across the football globe. Football is an expensive game to follow and there can only be one winner in each league....ergo there's lots of losers or also-rans.

No one is forcing them. Perhaps you'd like to wave a white hanky at him?

It simple mate.
You will be on the wrong side of the fence this week.
We will go down in both games and the fans will turn on the manager and the board for letting this happen when it could have been stopped.

Distin, Eto'o, Garbutt, Miralles, Baines, Jags?...others

It'll all come out - it always does
The man's a myth. A good lesson for life is look at what people do not what they say. He's the Jim Jones of football management, preferring to commit footballing suicide rather than play "parasite football".

Hello mate, I'm new to the forum, really interesting the discussion. I'm not a fan of Mourinho's after his behaviour on the first day of the season with the Chelsea doctor. His ego is too big so he's not for me but as a manager he is proven. I don't rate Mark Hughes, not sure about Pelligrini either. I just hope they don't go down the Eddie Howe route they need to aim high and show ambition. I think its too late to get rid of RM before SF they should have done it weeks ago. Strangely enough I come from a Man Utd family my brother and his son are season ticket holders and he can't see them beating us he said the Villa game on Saturday they were lucky to win and not lose

I think even being seriously linked with a manager of Mourinhos stature is good for the club.

We need to start showing intent and sending the message to the fans and the media that the toffees are back and Bottom half of the table is not good enough anymore regardless of how many crap teams we beat in a cup run

This post concerns me, not just because of what was written, but because of who wrote it. Reason being, in the few years I've been a member of this forum (and forgive me if I'm way off the mark here Steve), I've noticed that you've shown an unwavering and constant support of the Board, and especially Kenwright, so much so that I've often assumed you know Kenwright on a personal level. Also I only ever seem to notice you post when Kenwright and the Board are concerned.

So usually if someone had posted "I think he's safe until at least next Christmas", I'd have just thought "yeah whatever mate", but as it's you stating this, I actually give that statement more veracity. Which I find worrying.

Don't worry...I don't know Bill personally, have been in the same room as him twice in my life(well, one rehearsal room and one theatre!) and its easy to write here the total word for word conversation I have had with our former majority shareholder....

Me.... 'Hello Bill....do you think it will get to London?
BK.....'It needs a lot of work'

The occasion was at the Playhouse Theatre...a number of years ago, during the 'try out' of a BK produced musical about pop festivals....a massive balloon representing a cloud was hovering above the audience, who kept it airborne by pushing it to the heavens as it fell. Needless to say,the show never saw London, and London never saw the show.

The other occasion I went along with an actor who was auditioning for Bill for one of his shows...so I literally sat at the back and watched.

So there you are...absolute facts on GOT....you can sleep easily now.

* It still might.

I agree though, why wouldn't it start now? Perhaps as other candidates are currently in the employ of other clubs, who knows? It should do IMO though because it pains me to say that I've well reached the stage where I reckon him out and an interim in would offer nothing but a positive reaction from the players and fans alike.

For sure.

You're the joke

No point turning on the manager.

It ain't fault the board have watched this fiasco and failed to act.

He should have been out several weeks ago.

Thursday morning past at the very latest.

Or even Saturday night after that disgrace at Goodison.

The board failed to act.....it is their bad.
