Yep. Maybe there's an element of increased expectation, as losing at home used to be a rare event- we've been spoilt over the years.
I don't enjoy Everton matches at the moment, even the villa/Newcastle wins were dull affairs. City/ chelsea (on tv) were better.
That saddens me greatly to write this about a club I've seen parade the league, on my dad's shoulders. The club I worked at for 5 years. The club I spent all week looking forward to seeing, as an extension of the fans, fighting for every ball, every decision..
This is also as someone who regularly goes the game. I take my dad, I don't go to meet mates, or bevy at the match, ect so it's not even a social thing for me- it's to see Everton be boss, and spend as much dad and lad time as possible, as I've seen loads of my mates lose their dad young. But we are absolutely horrid to watch despite this entertainers tag. Its infinitely more easy to disconnected from a garbage Everton performance if you ain't there and spending a good wedge on it (and sit amongst 38k feeling the same)
