Feeling is he's been unlucky?? What for two seasons!! Mental if true this like. Not a good start for Moshiri if he's giving this chancer another swing at it.
 

Someone earlier stated Martinez contract is probably performance related. Probably save us money if we let him stay until the end of the season.

Targets have not been met, so I think it will be mutual agreement. The more I think about this the more proffessional this course of action seems. I would have got shut ages ago, however i think that the season is done, as is Martinez.

He is playing for a cup win to flower up his cv and exit with some reputation intact. Lose the semi and he is condemned to championship or sunday league management.

I hope the players can ignore his waffle and take the derby into their own hands and win it for the fans, I hope they put everything on the line and go for it and ignore Martinez`s passing out from the back `philosophy` that has put so much pressure on our defence and keeper, and ultimately cost us a lot of points this season.

I remember Dave Whelan on the tv when Martinez signed for us he said quote ` He will take them to places they can only dream about ` ...

I think their joint tunnel interview points to how this went.

Bill was gushing the praise at mains pressure, while Moshiri smiled politely and kept his own counsel.

Here's the recording of my earlier call on 5 Live. Just a couple of things - it's extremely difficult to keep the conversation going in the direction you want rather than where they want to take it, and if you try to interject then they close down you microphone as happened this evening at one point.

Having said that, objective achieved, 8 minutes of talking about Martinez must go, Moyes being unsuitable and we should set our targets high helps get the message across.
