No contracted manager would move to us now anyway mate, just silly to do thst. Once the season is over you have 4 weeks then to find the right manager and make the process easy for all.Just been thinking.
What if we are in fact chasing a few big name replacements. As @The Esk mentioned we have already spoken to four, three of which he knows are still currently in positions elsewhere.
Should we be unsuccessful in finding the right man, could the Board be keeping hold of Roberto as Manager for the start of next season?
Hence the non sacking before the end of the season?
You have to separate both.
Youre that focused on your wanting martinez sacked.
You've lost reality in how the business EFC is managed.
This 'sack him now' thing is pure fantasy.
Real world. Any sacking will occur in the summer. If Moshiri makes the decision to do so.
What an abysmal shutdown. A perfectly suitable analogy was offered, you had no comeback, so you act like it's a direct comparison. Pathetic. Are we really into car comparisons mate?
EFC is an almost £200 million turnover company.
It's actually now one of the biggest businesses in Liverpool. Let's not treat it like a sports car, yeah?
It's not for joyriding.
My point is though relating to how we are treating Roberto. Keeping him here "just in case"?No contracted manager would move to us now anyway mate, just silly to do thst. Once the season is over you have 4 weeks then to find the right manager and make the process easy for all.
So if we got pellegrini for arguments sake, we have to wait for his contract to run out before we could do anything about it. That's not saying we haven't spoke to him already with a view to approaching him, just right now all he is focused on is city
So yeah, pretty much why you won't hear anything until close season mate
Interesting thoughts there, I wonder why Liverpool did not wait, or Newcastle not to mention the other clubs that have sought a change this season. remember we have to date had two quite awful seasons.

It wasn't. This is a totally different time with a totally different set of players.
You don't know that. Moyes finished 17th, was he sacked?

Because we are run differently to them.
Are u familiar with running multi million/billion businesses?Bit of a tip to everyone.
@The Esk knows this.
A business man like Moshiri.
Makes decisions at his choosing.
You avoid 'crises management' decisions or continual short term decisions as they inevitably are poor decisions in the longer term. Crises are actual crises not manufactured ones.
The fact Moshiri has done nothing yet. Is all the signs of an excellent proxy-chairman.
He's not Mike Ashley. Or Lerner. He's letting things play out. Until he he need do something. When he plans to do something.
This is the experience he has from being a billionaire running multi million pound companies and lots of them.
Because it's the end of the season, we have nothing to play for apart from an FA Cup which will not be won managerless.
Unmanageable?
We have a striker on par with the tip 2 teams in the league and yet struggle to win games for 2 years. We are well within our right to sack Martinez for not being good enough considering the players he has playing here.
And considering we are the same club who stuck by a manager for 11 years because despite everything the league form was acceptable considering the investment I'd say any manager wanting a stable job jumps at us over moving to a Chelsea.
You can give Martinez all the money you want, just makes every league place lower even more damming when our previous manager could sell 2 strikers and a playmaker, loan a couple of dodgy players and still out perform Martinez
