Might be grasping at straws but I reckon alot of unrest from senior players have cause this mess as well.

Pienaar
Osman
Howard
Gibson

All have been cast aside by Martinez and they won't be happy. This can cause unrest in the team and Martinez lost the battle.

Martinez had stuck with howard longer than anyone should of. Howard should be rolling out the red carpet for him

It's nice to have a good Evertonian like @evertony finally see sense Ian, he's been a bit muddled with all this Martinez love

I'll run on the pitch on Wednesday and confront the manager....and get my spray can out and redecorate the hallowed walls of Goodison.
Just off to make a banner out of me Ma's duvet cover for Wembley:

Tell me Ma, me Ma
To bin off the Spanish Clown
The fraud will be taking us down
Tell me Ma me Ma

Hope that makes me a better Evertonian.

Wow, what a turn around.

But seriously I understand your point, but the ones doing that are the one who expect/want better for the club. So maybe they are better Evertonians, after all it's them putting their necks on the line open to this sort of criticism.

Come on Ian, you seem a sensible bloke all joking aside....do you really advocate a pissed up fella running on the pitch and trying to face up the manager of Everton and trying to take a swing at a steward? Is he a better Evertonian than the many thousands who can control themselves irrespective of how vitriolic or not they are about the manager?

Hey @ianefc .....just noticed the cryptic message in your user name.....Cafe In......a haven where 'in' voters can meet to discuss all things Martinez or Everton. Welcome back.

If RM wins the Cup, he should still be sacked. Only difference is, I would watch him go with fond memories and wish him well. Why (besides the money) does he have to wait until he's sacked and the fans absolutely hate him?! He should show some self-respect and say that he's going to walk at the end of the season and ask the supporters to get behind him and the team until then. People would respect him more IMO.

The board need to be more ruthless (for the good of the club). I know it's not a perfect comparison but look at City-they've already replaced Pellegrini even though they still have an outside chance of winning the Champions League. Why should we be any different? There really has to be a serious change in mentality at this club. I thought RM was that change when he came in and talked about Champions League and we had that great first season...but it was a false dawn and it now seems like a million years ago.

I should be looking forward to this next week, but it fills me with dread.

No I do not, I was strong in my criticism of him being confronted at the U21's

I'm of the opinion that there is a simple way to put an end to this.

Out of interest, how many Managers have resigned from a Premier League club in the last 10 years? I can't think of any to be honest as 'by mutual consent' just means sacked.
Suggesting Martinez has the decency to resign is unrealistic because it just doesn't happen....like players the managers have financial packages to protect.

But city signed pep so they had a chance to replace a manager with a better one. If our club knew we could sign simeone and Jose then we would do the same. City have been after pep for two years now.

Im still not over the names that were interviewed last time when Moyes left
Phil Neville
Alan stubbs

This time we will be linked with David Moyes
Gary neville and Phil.

Congrats you're the first to crack the code.

I used to hold functions in Stadiums, then arena's, then social clubs, then pubs, then an actual Cafe.....now it's just in my box room. Even then when everyone is attending it still seems very spacious.
