Good point made well.

As much as most of us want him out, let's not lose sight of the fact that we'd like to see us win the cup.
Completely understand, and it is sad what I said. The damage this man would cause in the long run were he manager outweighs winning the cup for me. That's how bad he is.

Sorry mate, but I don't believe that. You wouldn't go from such a supporting stance to quote a critical piece on him as 'post of the day' Martinez has messed with your mind. Welcome aboard.

Ha ha why on earth would I express support for the manager if I wanted him out? My position is crystal clear Ian....I support the manager but don't think the sun shines out of his hole. I'm an Evertonian not a Martinezonian.
It's healthy to be able to understand and respect others opinion without sharing it or criticising it....polar or extreme views carry very little credence.

Martinez goes on about fine margins, but our last three games could have easily been defeats, we've played so badly but the teams we've played have been poor.

Imagine losing 6 in a row and he'd still be in charge!

But if the form carried on, he would be sacked regardless if we win the cup. Our supporters needs a cup, we haven't won one in 21 years and yes you are happily to pass it up because of Martinez.

I know what your saying, and I wouldn't be "happy" to pass it up, but would do for the greater good.

I would take it all back if it meant winning the cup and him getting the sack within a few months however, if it i meant more seasons under him, then no.

I was yelling at the bugger myself when he started spouting that nonsense.

I haven't a clue what Koeman achieved as a manager before Saints, just that he has done a steady job on the Solent.

Not very much, I would gave thought, or he would have been at a "bigger" club than Saints already.

He could fall flat on his face next season.

God knows how highly Fletch would have rated Bobby after his first season here.....when he was a revelation.

Or Laudrup after his first season at Swansea.

Thise media types get away with murder.
Precisely. Its flavour of the month stuff. Koeman is doing a decent job at this moment in time. He's not, however, out of the/our stratosphere!

Here's the recording of my earlier call on 5 Live. Just a couple of things - it's extremely difficult to keep the conversation going in the direction you want rather than where they want to take it, and if you try to interject then they close down you microphone as happened this evening at one point.

Having said that, objective achieved, 8 minutes of talking about Martinez must go, Moyes being unsuitable and we should set our targets high helps get the message across.

Great effort @The Esk and well done for not reacting to that blert Fletcher. If that had been me when he moreorless told you to be quiet while he spoke... on what is supposed to be a fans phone-in, I think I'd have had to tell him in no uncertain terms that it was him that needed to belt up.

It's nice to have a good Evertonian like @evertony finally see sense Ian, he's been a bit muddled with all this Martinez love

Might be grasping at straws but I reckon alot of unrest from senior players have cause this mess as well.

Pienaar
Osman
Howard
Gibson

All have been cast aside by Martinez and they won't be happy. This can cause unrest in the team and Martinez lost the battle.
