Wow, you are meant to support Everton not the managerial record of Martinez.

As much as most of us want him out, let's not lose sight of the fact that we'd like to see us win the cup.

I actually think a less-than-good outcome on Wednesday will be enough. We could see caretaker manager for the semi.

Absolutely. I'm not a fan of Roberto, but I want us to win the cup,without question.

Of course, it will buy him time but not enough. He would be gone by November if this league form carried on. I would take a cup if that means another few months of Martinez. The issue is would the board want him to spend any cash and we would need to replace lukaku.

Like some say on here the board needs to be ruthless and still sack him if he wins the cup as I don't want to see another fan run on the pitch to have a go at our manager. This is an terrible time and yet we have a Derby and a semi coming up. How the hell are we going to pull two wins off this weeks. Was chelsea the cup game the last time we played good?

They're not going to sack him 2 days before a semi final. No chance. If they were going to do it before the semi it would have been by now. Think it will just be at the end of the season now.

To me that read as critical towards Martinez.

And? Because I want him to remain doesn't mean I think he's beyond criticism....far from it. I'd be foolish to think he was doing a great job. However, extreme views such as some I read on here about wanting us to lose the Derby and the semi or some of the ridiculous personal attacks on the man just don't resonate with me or about our Club.

Maybe, I'm not convinced he will be sacked till after the semi if we lose. The board and Martinez are banking on wining the semi. He should be sacked before the Derby to be fair. He lost the players, the fans and the plot and should be put out of his misey.its a massive shame as I really though he could have been great for us.

I just think another season or more under this man would really damage the club and set us back years, we are rapidly declining.

It is sad that I said what I did, but that's how bad Martinez is as a manager

If winning the cup meant another season of Martinez then I hope we don't win it.

If I was in charge I'd tell Martinez I'd double his salary and extend his contract if he wins the cup.

I'd then sack him on the day of the cup final and tell him I lied.

Lies are his bread and butter. He'd understand.

But if the form carried on, he would be sacked regardless if we win the cup. Our supporters needs a cup, we haven't won one in 21 years and yes you are happily to pass it up because of Martinez.
