If that is true, and it certainly wouldn't surprise me coming from Bill Kenwright's mouth. The protest against Martinez is going unheard, ignored. Pressure and criticism towards the Chairman might produce the desired result. But it all depends on the outcome of the cup. Like it or not, if they win it, neither Martinez or Kenwright will be going anywhere in the foreseeable future.

Here's the recording of my earlier call on 5 Live. Just a couple of things - it's extremely difficult to keep the conversation going in the direction you want rather than where they want to take it, and if you try to interject then they close down you microphone as happened this evening at one point.

Having said that, objective achieved, 8 minutes of talking about Martinez must go, Moyes being unsuitable and we should set our targets high helps get the message across.

Perfect answers. I can't believe he jumped at you for saying our ambitions were higher than Moyes to steer the conversation towards you naming managers that they could shoot down. A straw-man argument that they said they had employed to other Everton fans on previous calls complaining about Martinez.

It's a cup game, two maybe. He's a cup manager. The players will be up for it, who knows what will happen. So it can go either way, you know that mate.

True.

We can win this cup without actually winning another game as such.

In fact, we can lift the Cup without scoring another goal.

Two 0-0 draws at Wembley and win both games on pennos.

As if Moshiri is gong to tell someone who asks for a pic on a train what is going on behind the scenes, the type of person who he might confide in wont feel the need to pose for a picture.

I think you handled yourself with dignity and made some key points. Whether they deserved to hear them, is in my opinion debatable. The mouth with the microphone is an uneducated egotist, who had clearly made up his mind before you even came on. Personally I've never cared for dialogue on football matters outside of our supporters. If we get our own house in order, they'll be fawning to jump on a new bandwagon.

"Everton are a big club, but not a big, big, club" What bollocks is that? Was listening out for laughter on your end at such a dim-witted statement.

Right.

Besides I never refer to Everton as a "big club". I always refer to it as " THE Great Club". Simple as that. I refer to Everton as "The Great Club."

Man U is bigger, Liverpool is bigger, God help us Chelsea is now bigger but none are "greater". Which of them is the oldest? Which helped to found the Football League.

The Great Club. Use it.

Just listened to this. Nice 1. When you mentioned Koeman as an option, or as an example of the type we could go for. 'Fletch' said "after what Koeman has achieved he's elavated himself to potentially a Barca level"(or words to that effect). No doubting he was a very good player. And whatever he did to get the Southampton job fair play
But what precisely has Koeman achieved at Southampton in the Premier League?. He did a great job last season after they sold a lot of players in the summer. He's, to an extent, continued on in the same vein this year. Hats off and all that. But does that mean he's elevated himself beyond the Everton Manager position and is now a Barca target? I don't think so. 'Fletch' talking tosh I'd say.

I was yelling at the bugger myself when he started spouting that nonsense.

I haven't a clue what Koeman achieved as a manager before Saints, just that he has done a steady job on the Solent.

Not very much, I would gave thought, or he would have been at a "bigger" club than Saints already.

He could fall flat on his face next season.

God knows how highly Fletch would have rated Bobby after his first season here.....when he was a revelation.

Or Laudrup after his first season at Swansea.

Thise media types get away with murder.
