Whilst the whole tone was one of utter pat-on-the-head patronisation, I think there was a valid point on the Koeman argument. Is he now ready to go into Barcelona et al? Do we need to think about a bright young thing, rather than an easily identifiable target from a list you could pull together in 10 seconds?https://soundcloud.com/the-esk/the-esk-5-live-martinez-must-leave
Here's the recording of my earlier call on 5 Live. Just a couple of things - it's extremely difficult to keep the conversation going in the direction you want rather than where they want to take it, and if you try to interject then they close down you microphone as happened this evening at one point.
Having said that, objective achieved, 8 minutes of talking about Martinez must go, Moyes being unsuitable and we should set our targets high helps get the message across.
You can tell by the sporadic nature of this thread that many people don't visit it, the votes were cast a fair while ago, I'd put my bottom dollar that you wouldn't get this amount of votes again, I doubt you'd get 100 inside 7 daysEveryone's free to change their vote.
A reset poll would be interesting to be honest. I'd hazard a guess you get nearer 90% in favour of change now.
It's very very hard to get excited by us at the minute. Moshiri would have seen the real apathy and discontent first hand now today and it's really getting a bit shambolic. The fans hate the manager. The players don't like the manager. They won't give their best efforts for him. The fans are turning up to protest against him. And now we have young kids being thrown into the mix in the middle of all this. They did very well of course today and that was encouraging. But it only further evidenced the fact that the senior first team players have completely lost faith in the boss and downed tools.
Gonna be a long old week.
"The Special One’s financial demands – £12million a year – could be an issue". You don't say !
Why wouldn't it be plausible?!we are not poor little Everton anymoreEven if you forget it's the Daily Star (and let's be honest, you can't) it still doesn't seem entirely plausible.
It feels like we're being the bait club again, in the hope that Manchester United will be compelled to snap him up quickly.
Doffs cap to you sirhttps://soundcloud.com/the-esk/the-esk-5-live-martinez-must-leave

And what about the fans who will be out of pocket following a broken manager and a flat team who no longer play for him?

You then said the burden of explanation was on me
I've already explained
How about you explain what part of the cup run he deserves credit for
I know he want be gone until the summer, I hope i'm wrong because the guy should not even be allowed to take another training session never mind a derby and FA cup semiSure, extrapolate some silliness from my point of view if you wish.
The fact is he won't be gone until summer.
