The interesting thing to me has been the exponential drop off in support for Martinez.

There are those that never liked him, but they are relatively few in number. The vast majority - including myself - were won over in season 1.

There was then a steady loss of support over the second and beginning of this season.

But these last month or so, it's gone pretty much universal so quickly.

I think his attitude can rub people the wrong way when we aren't doing well. (It certainly does to me)

He doesn't show much humility and acts as if he's some sort of aloof Prince that can do no wrong.

Martinez says he understands the frustrations and accepts that there is unrest among supporters.

“Looking at our results at home, they are not anywhere near what is expected,” says the Spaniard.

“We need to turn that around starting with understanding the responsibility of being at Everton is to win games on a consistent basis.

“We haven’t been producing the results and I accept the unrest.”

hahahahahahahahahahahahaahaha This man is insane

That's what did it for me. Either he's trying to pull the wool over our eyes in the interviews, or he really thinks like that.

It doesn't even matter which. I'm fed up either way.

Is a graphic about Everton I never, ever want to see repeated.

Why oh why and what on earth are the board waiting for?

For the (potential) good of the remainder of this season in the short term and the future good of the club in the long term, Roberto Martinez has to have his contract terminated.

There is absolutely no other course of action to be considered.

I honestly feel that if the board do not act TONIGHT, they are betraying and abdicating their responsibility.

Why don't any of the pressmen ask him how he feels about achieving the record of the worst home league campaign in our history? Please someone ask him this.

Terrified of being banned from Finch Farm and Goodison.

Look at Newcastle's and Villa's reporters, on the manager's back every week and consistently asking searching question until they get an answer.
