Why are people saying that Kenwright won't sack him if we win the cup, Kenwright won't sack him because he thinks Martinez is a boss manager, lets get this straight it's got nothing to do with Kenwright he is no longer driving the bus, he pulled up at the terminus and a new driver has climbed aboard, If the Mosh man wants him gone then he's going and no amount of lovie, dovie pillow talk from Kenwright will change that

I mentioned this the other day, but wouldn't Moshiri have to have overall control at the club to make the decision on his own to get rid of Martinez, but while he hasn't got overall control, sacking Martinez would have to be a board decision?

If we won the cup AND took close to maximum points from the remaining games, that would display something of a turn around and buy Martinez the first few months of next season imo.

That, however, is incredibly unlikely so I've no doubt we'll be parting ways come the end of the season.

I want him gone as much as every one else..... but unless anyone can produce a copy of his contract and post it on the forum we'll just keep speculating ourselves into deeper frustration.

Winning the FA Cup, and let us be perfectly honest about this is an almighty ask, cannot be enough to give him up until Christmas.
If money is to be spent on new players and interest in our top players has to be resisted we need a new man at th e helm. I don't think Moshiri will risk giving a failing manager a side load of money in the off chance he may get it right. I don't believe players will risk another year of their career's on the off chance that Martinez will suddenly come good.
It is time to start taking decisions in the interests of our club.

Win the Cup......major muscle in the transfer market.

A new manager will come in riding a massive wave of good will from the fans and he will have plenty of ammunition already there to augment any new signings.

Bobby can leave with his head up, having added a second major trophy to his CV.

All can be good again by the end of May ;)

I think the reality is that 49.9% of the shares is going to mean whatever Mr. Mo says goes, Lou.

If he wants Bobby out, Bill will be powerless to stop him.....even if he wanted to.

But I don't think he does.

Whatever else, Billy Kenwright is a matchgoing Blue like the rest of us.......he was always on the train from Euston an any given Saturday for decades before he owned the club.

He is subject to the same doubts and insecurities as we are, don't worry about that.

He knows the dangers facing us this week if we have another soul destroying display this afternoon.

Mo being there actually makes it more likely Bill will swing the axe......whereas he wouldn't like to tell Bob it was his decision, he could say it was Mr. Mo's decision.

Bobby needs to beware the ides of April.
