Winning the FA Cup, and let us be perfectly honest about this is an almighty ask, cannot be enough to give him up until Christmas.
If money is to be spent on new players and interest in our top players has to be resisted we need a new man at th e helm. I don't think Moshiri will risk giving a failing manager a side load of money in the off chance he may get it right. I don't believe players will risk another year of their career's on the off chance that Martinez will suddenly come good.
It is time to start taking decisions in the interests of our club.

Your spot on there regarding players giving another year knowing that very little will change.

I certainly wouldn't want to work under him for another year that's for sure. We need someone in place who can sort out a pre season where the players are physically and mentally prepared for a season without been given so much leeway. A manager needs to be firm but fair, but players need to know who the boss is and believe in him 100%. No way do the players believe in Martinez methods, 2 years of failure will put
an end to a player believing anything he says is right.

You DO know you contradict yourself completely in three sentences, right?
Absolutely not - but you would expect 3 signiciant defeats in a week would see a possible change of stand, that's just my opinion. My point being while we go delusional re a sacking tonight etc on here that's not the case within Everton itself.

It's not going crazy or being delusional thinking it's best he gets sacked if we get absolutely pummelled today though is it. Imagine that for a second, getting absolutely roasted today and this board sitting on their hands doing nothing.

I can't see it myself mate.

This conversation can all be avoided anyway with a nice thumping 3-0 win for us today

Nothing will happen this week.

It is my belief that he should have been sacked before today. But that hasn't happened so there is no point dwelling in it. I would sack him today, no matter what the result is against Southampton, I honestly believe we have more chance of winning the cup without him.
We should put in a temporary management team to get us to the last game of the season, that way we are negotiating with a new manager for a vacant position. The new man can start immediately this season ends. Club can announce plans, players can be brought in immediately after the Euros and the players we have on the books can see some progress. Anything less will cost us in terms of quality.

I can 100% confirm there is no review scheduled until season end. Despite the hysteria on here that he may go tonight etc - he won't. Naturally if we lose all of the next 3 there may be a change of plan but as of now it's season end.

@MoutsGoat we've got another one here FWIW

Why are people saying that Kenwright won't sack him if we win the cup, Kenwright won't sack him because he thinks Martinez is a boss manager, lets get this straight it's got nothing to do with Kenwright he is no longer driving the bus, he pulled up at the terminus and a new driver has climbed aboard, If the Mosh man wants him gone then he's going and no amount of lovie, dovie pillow talk from Kenwright will change that

Yep, wins the cup and he going nowhere unless he sacked before the semi.if he wins and it's still the same at Christmas's then the fans will be forcing his sacking. The fa cup will only win him 6 months to turn the league form around.

Nah. If we are 11th, 5 points off 7th this December people will say let's give him till the end of season. We need to draw a line.
