I think the pre Moshiri board would have fitted this description in today's position, but I can't stress enough the difference post Moshiri's involvement. Change is happening, we just have to see the season out.
Mate, i hope you are right, the whole club just reeks of failure and losers, and if we are honest it has done for years, If Moshiri is serious about Everton there needs to be mass clear out and and a message to everyone involved that we wont accept failure, that needs to cascade from the top down, and that starts with the appointment of world class manager, anything other than that is pointless.

That would have been my preference too, because I thought it represented the best chance of success, clearly the board are giving him the chance to finish the season, hopefully still with silverware.
You may well be right but i think Moshiri has missed an opportunity to be seen by the fans as being pro-active rather than reactive.
The disquiet amongst the fans seems to be mirroring the malaise currently running through the club as a whole and the team in particular.
I just hope he hasn`t missed his chance to move things forward, starting with the most obvious in replacing a busted flush in the managers office.

Wats the plan for Martinez in goodison tomorrow ?

It's a brave / risky / stupid (delete as applicable) decision if the Board have decided to give him til the end of the season, which is now looking likely.

They basically have / had two choices. Either get rid of him now, or let him see the season out.

If they don't sack him now and we don't win the cup, many fans will be furious that they didn't cut him loose and get an Intermin manager in to try and get the job finished.

But if they do sack him now and we win the cup with an Intermin, the Board will get huge kudos. Even if they sack him now and we don't win it, most fans will probably feel 'at least the Board took the gamble that many of us were calling for'.

The Board probably have a lot more to gain by chopping Martinez now I feel.

A lot rests on tomorrow I'd say. A bad result and a toxic Goodison and he could well be gone before Wembley.

I could be wrong but I just get the sense things could go a little nuclear tomorrow.

Ain't the fans fault but Martinez with his ways and stupid remarks after the games so it's Martinez fault if it goes nuclear , not the fans referees or any other stupid excuse COYB
