Every time I read his BS I laugh a little bit more. How the hell can he say he's going to do what he's been doing for the past 7 years, does he not realise that he's failed on the majority. He must be actually see a different game from tens of thousands of people.

If that statement he said yesterday does not ring alarm bells in the higher hierarchy then I fear for this club, it proves his stubbornness and it's very alarming

We have to win tonight, there is no ifs and buts. We can't go into Southampton and Liverpool without a win tonight, if goodison is bad at the best of times seeing the team falter then sitting 15th or 16th and struggling would just make it impossible to continue under the manager. Makes no difference if we have a cup semi final, go into it with no wins since February and i cant see the team really getting up for it if something doesn't go to plan on the day.

For all you omen enthusiasts. Two years ago we got best by Palace which harmed our chances of finishing in a champions league spot, now 2 years on a defeat could have us 2 places above the relegation zone.

Let that fact sink in.....

which might indicate that the reason it dropped off is the more or less that except for a few holdouts it's game set and match for the Taxi
It is entertaining, ahem, conducive to a proper debate to have both sides of the argument prevalent.
Having lost the esteemed Dave, I for one applaud the return of my good man @ilikecheese to share and entertain ;)

There is no chance of our new shareholder and board representative backing the current situation at Everton, change is afoot.

I have no idea if you have a source or not mate, but i am sure that like most people everyone takes note of your posts (particularly in the Moshiri and the stadium thread) - I hope change is afoot, something needs to be done and this can't be allowed to continue now.

For the sake of everyone.

He won't.

BK: What a manager.

...be mindful HK, BILL plays a part, constantly, he is forever in character. Granted, it's not even a great character but he is ALWAYS in the role and it serves a purpose, it is consistent and he is devoted to it.

But even the typecast 'goody' is afforded the chance to play a 'bad guy' sooner or later.

I wish him well.

Whatever happens he will be in charge of the cup semi final.
Serious question. Do you think having him in charge for the semi gives us our best possible chance of winning it? I'm not sure anymore.

Think he'll get Saturday even if we lose tonight but depending how sour it got at home then there is a possibility it could all be done and dusted by teatime.

Whether we win the cup is irrelevant at this point. That kind of thing is what you look at when a manager is under performing by a couple of places consistently in the league. We're about 6 places below where we should be.
Agree if we were going to be finishing around 60 points then yes but we'll be lucky to get to 50. Also add in the teams that we've beat and there's shouldn't be any chance he stays even with a cup win.
