Something about a group of talented players finishing 14th is so much worse than a team of below average players doing the same, at least the latter fought to reach their potential. I don't even care to watch anymore, because every promising spell ends up a false dawn. Can't be bothered to hope for a turn around. If it happens great, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

If this is true (no reason to doubt you but also no reason to believe you, don't take it personally) then Ferguson is a bit of a tit. Say what you want about Martinez and our season but he should have kept his mouth shut.

100% not true Ferguson is part of "inner circle" and is part of the small team that discusseds game plans etc etc. Laughable on here now.

Like I said, it was just something I was told which put an interesting perspective on stuff. Not trying to bolster an already growing lynch mob against Martinez. I'm really saddened by how things have turned on here and how I've even had to give up on the current manager, after being a massive backer of his during his time at the club.
