Ok mate
( he isn't broke at all like, despite what mirror claim)

You can go now mate as I think your posts on the matter are moronic and I no longer wish to converse with you
`Oh thank you oh wise one .... walks backwards towards door whilst bowing head to acknowedge arron the superior one` ..... NOT
who does not want to converse anymore as he has had his fill of home truths for the day
This is tedious to read.

Moronic? Thank you oh wise one?

Knock it off.

The Daily Sport could do a classic headline " Martinez ate my pet hamster " and a load of you would believe it because you want it to be true.

All these stories are that, just that people want another stick to beat him up with.
I heard he didn't eat the hamster, he did something much much worse. Think Richard Gere and a Gerbil, allegedly.
Oh Martinez out, or in.

The whole thing is frustrating to me as I really like the way under Martinez that the younger players are taken care of and given time in the lower leagues, and there seems to be more integration between the planning of the first team and the youth sides. I had visions of creating a production line of young talent to rival anyone. The plans for Finch Farm seem great as well and I think the manager has put a lot of thought and planning into the long term growth and development of the club.

If he can't get results where it counts then I agree it's probably time to go but it would be a shame if the next manager was someone who took less of an interest in the long term future of the club and the development of young players.

Yeah, I think Martinez has so much right. It's the glaring holes in his capability that he doesn't seem to recognise, never mind know how to fix, that torpedo all the good intentions.

You don't have to read it with respect

Also I have made plenty of moronic posts and I'd gladly admit to it.

But if I find something else moronic I will point out that way, I'm not swearing at him or insulting him personally I just find his post that way

So I don't see why you are trying to goad me with your own sarcastic remarks which are uncalled for

And I'm sure I'll be banned now for one reason or another ( going off topic or arguing with a mod) so fair enough

Would he be better in a so called "director of football" role ?? Or would that lead to conflict with a new manager ?? Interesting view waggy

An ambitious club wouldn't have hired Martinez (seriously what was the criteria? Young and available in the NW? Once he was in place I backed him but the shortlist for what is one of the biggest jobs in English football was utterly embarrassing, as was the final appointment).

An ambitious club would not have tolerated last season either. Like you said though the 'Everton way' now seems to be about not looking like a kopite and getting neutrals to like us. Funnily enough that's not what the club founders put in Latin on the badge is it. The real 'Everton way' is right there for everyone to see. It is the way of a league high number of firsts, smashing transfer records to widespread derision from everyone else, firing managers in the back of taxis, throwing cushions, annoying top German managers with our physicality, selling our top scorer because we came second for the good of the team then winning the title next year, it's daubing paint on walls and flying banners at matches when it is simply not good enough. None of these things are or were kopite, they were what made us the best.

Now we have a large portion of the fan base almost allergic to any tangible success who would prefer to revel in mediocrity with the odd bit of media adulation for developing a player for a top club to buy, or for a few games of pretty football (that didn't yield results). This is not what Everton is but sadly a lot of fans are now used to it and quite like it. You only have to look at posters who don't like the thought of Mourinho as manager because of his PR and style of football. Contrast that to an Everton board bringing Catterick in to win things because they were fed up of entertaining but not winning.

Having a top manager, buying top players for proper money, and competing for league titles are seemingly very unpleasant thoughts for some people on here. The mind boggles.

;)

Huge Applause to all that...

How am I trying to goad you? I've quoted you both and asked you to stop.

Apology above accepted.

Not seeing this great youth policy tbh. Like everything else seems to talk a good game but fail to deliver. What players have been brought through from our academy? 45 mins for pennington? A couple of games at right back for browning when there was no other choice due to injuries.

Because it is like Wimbledon making Vinnie Jones first team coach. I thought it was a strange appointment at the time
and was proved right, when it was plastered all over the national press that our first team coach had declared himself bankrupt
heaping more embarrassment on the club. Says a lot about someone on his wages who cannot manage his own finances let alone first team
activities, don`t you think?

I think this picture embodies Martinez's managerial career.
