Love the Velvets and listened to a lot of Lou Reed when I was younger but not so much now. Saw him live when I was very young at Brixton Academy.
Heroin or Sweet Nothing?

Had a chance to see Lou Reed myself but never went thinking there would be other chances to see him live, just wish I had gone when I had the chance before the poet passed away,RIP.

Out of Heroin and sweet nuthin, sweet nuthin for me.

apart from the obvious tracks on Loaded, one of my favourites is Rock & Roll.

My other half used to say that she knew when I was on a downer because I would put Lou Reed on, depressing she used to call him, saying that though, I was playing the 'Berlin' album and the track was 'the kids' when she heard him.

Collymore expanded a bit.

"Told by someone I know and respect in football" De Boer.

He said that when mentioning Steve Bruce becoming new villa boss. Call me a cynic but a radio host dropping links at the start of a call in programme may not be the best and I like Stan.

I make him right on that one, oddly enough.

Used to be a team qualified for the semi final and got on with their business in the meantime.

They never lost focus until they won the semi and the Twin Towers hovered into view.

Now, as a result of playing the blasted things at Wembley, they are all dazzled with the prospect of "going to Wembley" and it is showing in the lethargic nature of semi final bound teams in safe mid-table positions.

I bet our game at Palace this midweek is a carbon copy of today's bore fest.

Spot on, their win today almost guarantees safety for them and as such a midweek snore fest. Any Everton fans going to this game deserve a medal

Total realism folks, not pessimism.
I agree wholeheartedly, but I'll be at Wembley shouting and singing my head off and I hope every other Evertonian does likewise.
Irrespective of our feelings towards El Bob, this is OUR CLUB going to Wembley aiming for a place in the FA Cup Final... get behind the team cos they're gonna need us like they've never needed us before !!!

Oh for sure, Block ;)

And even at this late stage, I hope @Anna does indeed go round and give Bobby a shake and he starts turning it round from Selhurst onwards :celebrate:

I genuinely like the guy and dearly want him to wise up.

What do you think of this mate?

The reliabilty of Collymore?

No idea if I am honest. Seems an odd start to a show though. Not like there was a shortage of headlines in actual football matches today to pull in punters to call was there?

Stats are starting to speak for themselves. Martinez was a master at promising on the never never, it was easy to believe him that success was always round the corner. It seems that the majority of match going fans and the media have suddenly realised that is now not going to be this season and the reality of two successive bottom half finishes is now setting in.

I mean I can't see him lying in all honestly he seems a reasonable guy.

If it's true surely it will be the summer Ajax are top he's not leavin now

I did say a huge pile of cak or at least very subjective ;)

Nothing we say on here makes any difference mate and we are all open to criticism for the things we write. I think the poster you are referring to though spent half his life on here winding fellow blues up, but each to their own!

Anyway, let's hope somebody fires the gun ASAP as we are in trouble and completely rudderless.
Absolutely - here is the place to openly vent the frustrations and talk honestly - it won't impact the team - although I do wonder if some posters are in fact RM in disguise

The media are scenting blood now, roydo.

Stan is looking to scoop the rest.

Looks like it us coming to a head from where I sit.
