Bloody hell.

Just had half an ear on Collymore introducing his show on TS.

"Everton fans, another lead thrown away. What do you think now? Ive been told De Boer. What are your thoughts?"

shown those that needed reminding that turning on the manager at the first time of trouble isn't the way to run a football club.

I was calling for him (Martinez not Davek) to be realised at the end of last season. All the reasons for saying what I said last May have continued or developed further. We have been in a steady decline in footballing terms for two years. What we are witnessing now is not a sudden or temporary loss of form, it's the result of two years of mismanagement of many of our players, tactics, and training, creating a team of talented individuals playing like shadows of what they can be, some unfit, all devoid of belief and spirit.

Given the resources to be made available to us and the expectations ahead of us Martinez' position is untenable. Ridiculously we now find ourselves in a loss limitation exercise when we should have been competing alongside Leicester, Spurs and West Ham.

The cup run is a welcome relief, a trip to Wembley, hopefully two trips and silverware will be fantastic but that cannot disguise the erosion of what we had on the pitch and sadly Martinez' inability to arrest the decline.

If we lose in the semi would you sack him after the match?

I certainly would.

Would take alot to get him. Many teams will be after him. Just hope Moshri has good persuasion skills

Yes......I believe history will be kind to him.

In ten or twenty years time, the lasting image of the Martinez era will be that wonderfully refreshing first season when we thought Bobby would lead us to great things.

I just wish it had worked out for him with us.

I'm with you a 100 % on this mate, however the longer he stays and continues to drag the club down with him all that will be forgotten.
