As I said, maybe my emotion carried me. Still though, morale comparatively can't be high, and for me, as long as Martinez is here, that spiral will be perpetuated. So my point remains the same too.

That's not the same as rock bottom in Everton's history though is it?

A world without emotion would be a lot more boring!

Agreed, but you can't run a footy club on emotion.

Martinez will be out of here in the Summer, I'm positive of it. We'll be looking to high profile managers to replace him.

Until then, FA Cup Semi barring, the season's done.

Here's to hoping. Realise it's not rock bottom in terms of where we have been in our history but my original post was certainly not intended to create that notion. I was at the Coventry game in 98 and no, it doesn't compare to that pain.

It does feel though as yet again, we are on the verge of a missed opportunity when the football playing field is so open. I don't want to see another season along these lines while the others move on. Anyway, agree with you Elong, once business is done, hopefully we'll see the change.

Take note you young'uns, this is how you post, sensible, articulate, and in agreement with me.

I don't usually respond to people of your ilk, but I'll humour you.

It's been 2 seasons, one of which might yield us a trophy.

What makes you think you wield so much power that you can push someone like Moshiri into making a decision? Martinez will be fired in the summer, and you'll be claiming you forced it no doubt.

It's posters like you that continue to bring down the quality of debate on this forum and the reason why many decent Blues are leaving.

I didn't say the first part of the bold bit and you've just fabricated the second sentence. No ones got the power to make Moshiri do anything, I certainly won't be claiming I influenced him, what a bizarre accusation to make.

My general point is that I don't see why Evertonians unhappy with an aspect of the club and chose to vocalise it should be derided.
