I've always been astonished at how we went from being the talk of the Prem, knocking on the door top 4, playing great football, to where we have been the last two seasons.

You've got Neville and Carra lording him here.

I remember in that first season I nicknamed him The Submaster, after Moyes's dithering and negative ways in games, Martinez would make subs early, sometimes double subbing early in the 2nd half and the players coming on would have direct involvement in us wining or playing better.

Now you look at his game management and it's a shadow of what it was in that first season.

I think the end is nigh for him, if it was not for the FA Cup Semi he could have been sacked with another bad game in the Prem.

It's a shame because I like the fella, but he just looks so out of his depth right now and the players are looking like they've had enough, they've lost belief in his methods, and you can't blame them looking at the shocking form and results this season.

The substitutions are a big highlight for me I agree with everything else there also. But that first season he was revolutionary in his substitutions. They were Instant, positive. He made statements with them.

We'd go a goal down and have a bad ten minutes spell then ya see Roberto giving instructions with venom to two positive subs, and not like for like substitutions either. The very nature of them sparked the crowd and the players on the pitch.

What has happened to that??? Seriously. I know his tactics alone are his biggest downfall. But them moral boosting style of substitutes this season would have earned more points just on thier own.

Are Spain off their heads?

Bizarrely would do far far better in international management than club management mate

Players won't be with him long enough to figure out he talks utter bs
Day to day defensive training of the players will be down to the clubs
Fitness levels of the playewrs will be down to the clubs - so players won't looked goosed after ambling round for 70 minutes

Think the way he was when he first joined us, piggybacked off the defensive and fitness levels of the players left to him being high and did well, now roll that out to the fact he will never have those players togetehr trainign with him long enough to erode it

Sadly Roberto knows he's on a cushy number here and will turn any approach down due to wanting to create a "dynasty" at Everton. Bill will get a semi on and convince Moshiri to keep him on.

TBF on talksport if they can't create debate they often stray away from lead subject, it's pointless having caller after caller, email/text/tweet after email/text/tweet all saying the same thing. I've stopped listening as I'm now home but if the Everton debate has stopped, pound to a pinch of poo it's because EVERYONE was saying the same thing.

Martinez out.

Done that for sure, a mid table dynasty just like he did at Wigan apart from a good cup run chucked in now and then this is where RM is at home.
