I'm pretty sure moshiri knows that 14th isn't good enough and a bed sheet with Martinez out scribbled across it wont change anything. We are very close to getting to the cup final and we need to get behind the team for potentially our first taste of success in years. If we get knocked out then bring out the sheets if you feel its necessary but please try to support us winning something its been far too long. You can wait another couple of weeks I'm sure.

Do you fee we've got a better chance of winning the Cup with Martinez in charge, or with someone else?

If it's the former of those, then I'd say you're in a minority. We look utterly lost.

agree with you mate but I cant see it changing in the nest 3 weeks. I think we all need to stick together. Who is this new manager coming in to win us the cup? Its impossible to know if they have a better chance but he's got us this far to his credit.

"Getting us this far"... He's gotten us to two semi finals - but mostly down to us getting VERY easy runs. Chelsea are the only decent(ish) side we've beaten in either competition.

We've also not beaten ANY of the other semi final sides this season. I don't know who we'd get to replace Martinez, but honestly, with this set of players I don't think they could do much worse.

Another three weeks isn't going to make any difference and given we have so far this season failed to beat West Ham (twice), Man U (twice), Watford or Crystal Palace the chances of actually getting the final are at best evens given our track record against the other contenders is not that impressive. Could always win through I suppose but the fume will be at it greatest if we lose the semi. BANNERTIME!

If the Echo are blind to it on their twitter feed but can make full story from one tweet then it's time for match going fans to be more proactive I'm afraid. Fans need to be seen as well as heard for change to happen, get vocal too.

It frustrates me that many of our fan base are more concerned about whether they are akin to those across the park than our own interests.

Do not put banner up because you'll look like a Kopite... do not vent your disgruntled feelings as they'll think we are acting like Reds...

Now I'm not saying I'm totally for the banner due to it being before the semi-final, but worried about being a Kopite is the least of our problems.

My sole concern right now is the direction and progress (or lack of it) of our club and whether Roberto Martinez is the correct man for the job.

If that is not your priority and in fact you're more concerned how we may be perceived by others (or if we look like them), then I worry.

As @Groucho rightly puts it, silently matching into oblivion purely so we aren't like "them" is giving them too much credit; it's ludicrous.
