looks interesting. one of the benefits of living in London is the food/pub options. Though since my wife became pregnant and decided to retire eating out is pretty rare these days.

Congratulations on your wife being pregnant - QCH is definitely worth a trip, good weekend lunches as well.

if youre looking for something to do beforehand take them to the skygarden in fenchurch st...its basically a garden on the top of the 40 (ish) story building with great views of London, its great, my Canadian in-laws loved it. Oh, and its free! But you have to book a slot a good few days in a advance

Gotta be better than going up the Shard. Thankfully I was given it as a Christmas gift, wouldn't pay money to be herded like cattle around a series of substandard views, whilst trying to avoid nobs taking selfies.

So i went with Galvin at Windows, table booked for Saturday. The view looks awesome and the prices aren't as pricey as i thought they might be !

Cheers for the suggestion @The Esk , will report back on my experience !
