Decent places need a table booking...Girlfriends parents are coming over from Spain to visit her and need to take them all out for a swanky meal up in central London this weekend.
Has anyone got any recommendations ? Not particularly arsed what type of food, so long as it's a pretty classy establishment with high quality food in a nice location. Budget is about £300 for 4 people (excluding drinks) although obviously would rather it cost less.

This is exactly what I was going to say.If you like steak go to Gaucho. There's one just near Picadilly I think. Not cheap (£40-50pp for mains), but well worth it. They have cuts you might never have heard of...

I like eating here in Shoreditch but theres one in covent garden. Never been to it but the food is delicious and cocktails excellent. Easily within budget.

Have you ever tried Quality Chop House in Clerkenwell? (Not a million miles from where you are). Fantastic old British food and some great wines - look it up......
