I think the last Liverpool manager to have a proper mutual respect for Everton was Roy Evans.Roy would actually be my most liked rs personality and his record as manager wasn't that bad.He always had them in the top 4 and that would be enough for a champions league place nowadays. The less said about Aldo the better though. That bloke is an rs version of Dougal from Father Ted.Always confusing the auld dreams with reality is Aldo.

I always laughed at Joe Royle giving Roy Evans a patronising swipe over some bust up round the derby that " Roy's just thrown his dummy out the pram thats all". A great Scouse summing up if ever there was one...and one of the few times that both clubs had Liverpool born and bred managers. I always felt Roy Evans got poorly treated by the RS over Houllier etc to be honest. For me Joe Fagan was the most well balanced over there. He was honest..and came across as a real gent.

Will be raging if they 45-50m for Sturridge....Do one PSG!...

ffs, i hope this is paper bullsh*t. How do they keep fluking massively inflated fees. Torres was gone for 2 years when chelsea thought he was still the player he was and spunking way too much. sterling as well, when nobody was interested. Barca overspent by at least £15m on suarez as well imo. Carroll for £15m - just because THEY vastly overpay for players, doesn't mean their players are worth similar fortunes.

Benteke having a go at Klopp.

Benteke questions why Klopp ‘ignores’ him

"The general consensus is that Benteke does not suit Klopp’s high-energy, high-pressing style of play and the pair’s relationship appeared to hit a particularly rough patch following Liverpool’s 3-2 defeat at Southampton on Sunday when manager was seeing having heated words with player on the St Mary’s pitch. Speaking on Match of the Day that evening, Alan Shearer described it as a “telling off”.

Klopp has played down the incident and said previously that Benteke is part of his long-term plans, but the 25-year-old clearly does not share that view if his interview with Belgium’s Sport/Voetbalmagazine is anything to go by. “Some team-mates have said that I was lucky with the arrival of Klopp, because I certainly would play,” Benteke is reported to have said. “When your coach says he wanted to take you to [Borussia] Dortmund and a little later you sit at the same club and he ignores you it is hard to understand.

“I find it bizarre, I do not understand why people say that [I am ill-suited to Klopp’s style of play]. I can play pressing and moving a lot. It is not that we play in the Barcelona style.”

Yes Christian, rock the kopite boat!
