Not big into metal or country, but I'll listen to mostly anything once. I'd rather listen to something good than find something that matches what I already like.

The Glove Puppets of the Alabama Chiropodists are good. Only their first album though, they went mainstream after that.

A Sunny Day In Glasgow are another great band about at the moment. A band called Nothing - who are making pretty cool shoegaze music also.

Not a new band, but new music from them - The Stone Roses have finally announced a new album. Can't wait. Their debut is in my to 5 albums ever list.
