News of Ex Players

To be fair, he probably played well at a number of clubs more fitting his level of ability. He was never his fault to be bought and thrown in at a level way above his talent. He was crap for us mind.

Him and Collymore scored for fun when they played together for Southend. The RS got Stan and we got Brett. Kind of sums us up at that time !

There are few more deserving of recognition than Mick, totally fearless, brave and commited, great to see him looking fit and healthy.

Great bloke !
My mate and I used to hang around by the players car park waiting for him to turn up and he would walk us into the ground and get a steward to shove us in the paddock for free.

Sad that he was back in UK for his mum's funeral but great to see him getting the recognition he rightly deserves and no doubt the result will go some way to lift his spirits.
