Welcome to the cult brother.Yeah it was easy.
I don't get the complaints about the manner of the victory we were always in control.
We didn't have to up the gears and i for one am happy with the 3 points

Tough crowd on here pal. Always continue to pick holes in a game that's past and we got 3 points. park it and move onto Saturday I sayWe beat Villa easily away from home.
Nothing to moan about here Geordies. On we march.
Five wins in six games.
I am a proud plotter my friend.Welcome to the cult brother.
My thoughts exactly. left fuel in the tank for Saturday and got 3 points and 2 more goals added.Yeah it was easy.

I genuinely don't think he is anymore!
Oviedo is the better defender, no doubts about that at all.
All round play? Baines used to be head and shoulders above any and every full back in the division. Since his injuries he's looked a shadow of the player. Weak defending, and not as strong going forward.
Oviedo and Coleman are our two best full backs now. I still love Leighton though, so maybe if he gets a chance back in the first eleven he'll have a good partner on the wing who'll be able to link up well with him.
Also, isn't this what we did whilst 2-0 up at bournemouth - kept going for a 3rd to try and kill it off instead of take the sting out - we ended up shipping 3 goals and 2 points. Everyone's admitted we have been too open this season.
You God Damn Right......throw Galloway into the mix and it's a nice problem for RM to have.
why bother? knacker ourselves for the wet ham game? yeah that would be a good idea when the game was already won. That's what liverpool do. They've had their 4 big wins under klopp, but have had horror results in the other 10 because they can't do that every game it be a success.
our goal difference is vastly superior to anyone around us - there would be no advantage whatsoever in going flat out and winning 5-0. No gain. The gain of keeping ourselves near 100% for another crack at three points v west ham in a few more days is much more valuable.

Hats off to SuperBob. For a while last night he had me thinking he was about to achieve the impossible and let a 3 goal lead slip against one of the worst teams in premier league history.
Far from convincing as far as I'm concerned
I remember sitting in my full kit (I was only 9 or 10!!) crying my eyes out because Villa had just beaten us in the second replay of the league cup final with my Dad and Grandad having listened to it on the Wireless (you youngsters will have to google Wireless). I think it was this event in my life that has scarred me where they are concerned and always had them towards the top end of teams I dislike and I admit on many occasions has had me hoping they would go down.
But last night I couldn't help but feel sorry for them - the future does look very bleak for them at the moment and does serve as a timely reminder how quickly things can change.
Lerner does come across as a guy who is just in it for the money and can't really be arsed about football. Nobody like that should EVER be allowed to run a Club. I am SO glad that the Yanks never got control of us in the end, which only a week ago i'd reluctantly assumed was a given.
Based on that last 10 minutes? Nah it was never remotely looked like we were going to drop points. Villa only started playing once the 3rd went in
Come off it. Villa had more shots against us than they have had in the previous 3 matches or more combined. That is abysmal by us to be honest.
We were lucky they didn't snatch a second as there was certainly a few squeaky bum moments. And if they did get it.. Villa would have been well up for grabbing an equaliser.
Obviously it didn't happen and we got the three points. But let's not pretend it was happy days.. we were poor.
And against the likes of West Ham we will be punished that's for sure.
Martinez subs were half the problem for me. Shoehorning him in and experimenting with Stones as a back 3. When we should have been throwing Del and Niasse on earlier to go for the jugular and boost confidence.
