GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread


Truely scraping the barrel now with Shane coming back. Could have been a great storyline to have him appear but no, just use him as a last roll of the dice.

Wwe still refusing to address the issue that their heel champion is cheered and their face challenger (Roman) is being booed out the arena every night.
 

Just discovered a great ebook called 'The Power Slam Years 1994-2014'. I was a regular reader of Power Slam magazone from about 1998 to 2006. The book is a great read and analysis of many prmotions including WWF/E WCW, ECW, NJPW and alot of smaller ones. Highly recommended.

I agree. Can't see him beating Taker. They are just stuck for something to draw buys for WrestleMania.

or have taker lose to start a whole new angle when the previous one failed (authority).

This is the problem with the product now, they keep making the worst possible choices. they have;

  • their top good guy booed by the fans
  • their heel cheered (as last night shown)
  • either ruining a shane return or the undertaker going down at mania again
  • nothing following up the wyatts going after brock in the rumble
  • the wyatts being reverse booked again which just kills any momentum they had
  • No credible tag team to challenge for the belts
  • no suprises to kick on from
  • potentially stale feuds before they get near wrestlmania, 6 weeks of brock/ambrose and reigns hhh,

It is a sorry state of affairs for the company.

Does he beat Undertaker at Wrestlemania?

Seems pointless to have him come back with intents of being the new authority figure, only to have him fail straight from the off

But then again, it would be insanity for SHANE MCMAHON to beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania FFS!

They've booked themselves into a corner here

That was different in that, stupid though it was, Sting at least lost to an actual wrestler

Are they really going to job Undertaker to the boss's son at Wrestlemania?

Or

Are they going to sabotage Shane's return straight out of the blocks?

Big mistake this

They should have booked Shane against someone else I think, like Kevin Owens. Shane could steal a win over him, thanks to Sami Zayn run-in, and it wouldn't do Owens much damage

to a certain extent it strikes me as creating a wrestle mania moment, a few weeks before it actually happens. Same as lesnar vs ambrose, that will be a terrible match there. It may look good sure, but ultimately it will be between the contract mercanary and the guy they refuse to put the title on. Reigns HHH will bomb unless they really come up with something, HHH beating him uo every week is not going to put reigns over whatsoever if he gets cheered for doing so. Shane has to beat taker, there is no ways about it, but burying the undertaker at wrestle mania is horrible booking again.

right now, bar the matches that owens and AJ styles are in, i cant think of anything that will be remotely interesting to see, that hasn't been rehashed or thrown together at the last minute.

Really hope its a screwy finish or it just seems pointless. I read a rumour that Cena is going to return and finally turn heel, furthermore that he and Orton would be forming a new faction. It would be amazing if the two of them along with Shane formed a new nWo and took control of Raw. They really need something to freshen up the product.
