What Skill Do You Wish You Had ?

Not with the teachers I had.
I thought that until I tried some dead languages recently (admittedly not spoken) came quite easy to me. Hated all modern Languages at school mainly because we were forced to do them and the way they were taught (even the dead ones). Took me years to get over it and give the ones I actually wanted to learn a go.

I remember the five minute French oral exam ( titter ye not ) I got as far as je m'appelle Summerisle and then a stony silence. Scarred for life I'm afraid.

Playing any sport at level to earn a decent living from it...
Playing a musical instrument at a level to earn a decent living from it...

If all else fails, having to skill to pick the Euro Millions winning numbers on a multi-week rollover and then (anonymously) dishing a load of it out to some worthwhile charities/causes.

So was I, the Languages I do have no oral part to them and I don't have to do the exams if I don't want. No real pressure anywhere.

I gave up doing crosswords because I decided they were pointless and it wasn't achieving anything other than a finished crossword, not I sit and do a bit of translation instead. Approaching it as just another form of puzzle really, a code to crack.
