From the fence

My last word on this is that my pessimism makes me think that if the team doesn't show significant improvement from last season and show the potential to go on and win something then it will be very difficult to hang unto our better players.

Okay fair enough and of course that is a worry.

But, I don't feel there will be a mass exodus.

Probably one key youngster, unfortunately, but we'll make sure we get a handsome fee for them, plus two or three fringe players, i'd imagine/hope.

First and foremost though, we concentrate on Bournemouth.

This is the week we come good.

This seems to fit in here right about now. Less grumpy tonight at casa de mezz, and I reflect that our situation, like our lives, is temporary.

Stay tuned for the message near the end. Peace and love to all here tonight. xxx

Are u saying there is a third "Fence" party coming into the horse race? What's your motto? Mend and play or climb and stay...?

Enjoying reading this thread now. Even the pessimists are making me feel optimistic.
Just out of interest though do people think another two or three wins would mean we'd be more accepting of a result and performance like West Brom one next time. Or is it going to be about more general gritty wins.
Even though I want to give him time I really think a few backs to the wall, ride our luck wins may actually do more to improve optimism.
Don't know how we can arrange that though.
